Not every painting of Bill Alexander inspires me, but when I saw Tom's interpretation (thanks for sharing Tom!) of this colorfull painting I wanted to try it also. Because the foreground is very dark, I added some foreground hills and some water and it reminds me a bit of Bob's Winter Bliss, but with more vibrant colors. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
WOW!!!! Love those colors. Everything looks so good. Your foreground tree and bushes are sublime! Well done Jos!!!
I had a feeling you would paint this one! Beautiful mountains and that extra bright pink in the sky - Fire it in!
Many thanks Tom, Nancy and hahaha Pam, how do you know that?
You are welcome Jos, I think I have other Bill Alexander paintings which might motivate you to try them :) Some will follow soon!
Haha - the giant mountain! Mountains are your thing lol.
Really super Jos
Thank you Matt

I am glad you liked my version. You made it different. As you said it looks like a Bob Ross painting now. But you did a good job.
