This painting was inspired by a photo, I painted the horses first with black gesso mixed with a bit of brown acrylic paint and after that I covered the canvas with a thin layer of liquid white before smashing in the background colors and the other stuff like the oil color of the horses, on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
