Another try last thursday to paint from a photo, this time of a fen near Oisterwijk, a small village in the Netherlands well known because of the many small ponds in the neighbourhood, on wallpaper covered with black gesso, 40 x 30 cm.

There is, for me anyway, always something mysterious/mystical about a lone tree in water.
