Forest Pond at Dawn - Bill Alexander

This painting on black canvas with a basic layer of crimson (I mixed a bit of linseed oil through it to spread it easier on the canvas) and also some pr. blue in the middle was a great learning proces for me in getting nice reflections of highlighted bushes in the water. It is the main part of this scene, so it has to look well! I had to do it three times (I scraped it all off two times) to get it a bit as I wanted, on stretched canvas 30 x 24 cm.
