This is my recreation of the Large Snowy Mountains by Kevin Hill. this was the most difficult painting I've done so far because I kinda suck doing mountains. This was quite a disaster already from the beginning 🥲. Even though doing all mistakes possible, I am quite pleased with this as this was my second winter lanscape I have done. This was painted on 40x50cm canvas

This looks really good Jim! The most important thing is that you have learn lots in the process.
Never tried Kevin Hill. Although his paintings look very attractive I am not so much a fan of them. But it is all subjective.
Mountains for sure need a lot of practice. I think the outcome is good.
