This is my recreation of the Autumn Lake by Bill Alexander.
Well this was a bit problematic if i say. I have no idea how the canvas ended up having way too much of liquid white so in the end the paint was more like ink than paint, that being said. there was lots of problems while doing this.
This hobby is something else though, I really like painting and have passion for it, but for a student this is draining a lot of my remaining money 😅.
This was painted on 40x40cm canvas.
Thank you.
Thank you!
You did a nice job. I like the muted colors.
Your trees look really nice. To be sure that you do not have too much magic white on the canvas you can even wipe it off a bit using a paper towel. I do this very often, even on canvas panels where a lot of people say they dry the magic white too fast. But never had a problem with the panels.
Thank you Tomi. Glad to hear that you like it!
Thank you Tom. Never had any problems really with magic white before but could it just be because i used different canvas panel as usual? Thank you for the tip also!
Nice.
Thank you!
Great work love the autumn colors :)
Nice sky and mountain tucked away but not hidden. The colors of the trees blend realistically well and the muted reflections in the water are nice. Good job.
Thank you Daniel!
