Finally finished! Although it changed A LOT from the beginning, the underpainting added a lot of depth and I am glad I tried that technique. The blues are more vibrant in person (like a peacock blue color). Hopefully it comes across as her standing in water puddles! I will attach all of the steps again.
If you missed out at the beginning, this is one of my own dogs. She is a rescue dog from the animal shelter and we have had her for just over 1 year. She is a fantastic loyal friend who LOVES "adventures" (walks and such anywhere and everywhere)!
** my English bulldog just came into my studio, looked up at this painting, and thought it was real for a minute and kind of freaked out a little! 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Dirk!
Very nice Pam!
Great result Pam, wonderful!
Thank you Brian and Jos!
Wow! I love this painting. The light is amazing and really makes the painting feel like there is a story (adventure) to tell. She definitely looks like she is standing in water puddles.
This is a real masterpiece Pam! Gorgeous!!
Great
