.Uncommon Friends

16x20 canvas. This landscape here is actually JOP S31E13 Bob's last show. I adapted it some to fit my composition. The landscape is painted with black and white gesso. The animal characters are all painted the same mixed up bunch of colors representing that people everywhere are not so different!

It is supposed to look like the animal characters were added to the painting - like a kid's activity book where they are supplied stickers to put into a scene.

As the title suggest, these animals are indeed uncommon friends - like all of us here on 2"brush, from so many places around the world. But these animals symbolize more. Each animal represents a global leader/leaders, placed together living in peace and solidarity.

PANDA BEAR - China
LION - UK and Iran
TIGER - India and South Korea
BROWN BEAR - Russia

I plan to donate the painting to the local animal shelter/humane society for a fundraiser next month.
