I am starting a series collection of tree paintings and I found this composition very pretty. I have never done a Kevin Hill before. He is definitely different from Bob (kind of jumpy A.D.D. kind of energy)! I watched it about 5-6 times first, and then painted it without following the video. This one was actually pretty simple and a lot of fun. I admit I "cheated" and painted in some background in acrylic first (see inset pic) so I would not have to try his shop towel trick๐คจ I kept the details more subtle and less fussy.
Super work๐๐ผ๐ฉ๐ช
it turned out very well, cool idea with the acrylic underpainting.
Very nice!
Gorgeous Pam! I go my own way too at times. Gotta do what works for you. BTW... I wouldn't call that cheating. ๐
Thank you everyone!
Stunning painting Pam, well painted, cheers
thanks Dave!
I love Kevin Hill and I've had my eye on this one for a while. The shop towel trick is worth a try, I've used it sometimes on very small areas and found it works well. You did a great job.
