As with "Contemplative Lady" (S16E6), I just couldn't bring myself to do this painting as given. I really didn't see myself painting a skyscraper at this point in my life. I decided, instead, to choose a place that has more meaning to me personally. So, this is a rendition of the fictional "Marabar Caves" from E. M. Forster's 1924 novel A Passage to India. I did not go back and read the description of the caves in the book, but I think I imagined them being something like this when I originally read it.
This painting is 18"x24" on (cotton) canvas-laminated panel.
Really excellent! Love this!
Really excellent work with the little details. I like the atmosphere here very much!
Very cool creation 👍!
I really like that, and your other paintings too
Very nice Drac - love the depth.
Gorgeous Drac!
What a great painting. I might even go spelunking there though I'm afraid to be in caves. So pretty! ❤ it.
