This is my rendition of a different medieval villain to go along with my Countess Bathory painting (https://www.twoinchbrush.com/originals/dracula/countess-bathory). This is a portrait of Gilles de Rais (1405-1440), sometimes called Bluebeard, who was a REALLY bad dude...but was also a Companion-at-Arms with Joan of Arc. Regardless, he was bad news.
This painting is 18"x24" on canvas-laminated panel.
