Had my first go at painting animals.. very hard .. couldn't get wool texture at all .. gave up !! back to trees I guess !! 😀
Ah David, You have painted a good what I presume to be, traditional British Breed sheep. These sheep breeds grow very short thick fibre wool and that is what their wool (let's not call it a fleece) looks like; - so good wool texture would be difficult. If you want a good wool sheep, best paint an Australian Merino Fine wool sheep, :-)) Cheers
David, I forgot to add that you have actually painted a pretty fine specimen of a clearly recognisable breed of sheep; so well done.
