I'm not sure what everyone else here thinks, but looking over your work, I'd have to say you have quite a large dose of natural talent. They're all good!! I really hope you continue to paint and share.

The sky and the water really beautiful . great work!

The sky lighted and its reflection in the water is SUPER! Never mind the island in there, it suits a flooded meadow!
You created movement in that water, great! And in the sky with the birds!!

Froggie your very kind .. really enjoyed my first venture into painting I find it fascinating the effects you can paint.. I have found anew hobby

Jin7 Thank you for your comments I really love your paintings.. your mountains are spectacular particularly

Voy Kay .. as always thank you for your kind comments as alway.. I love your picture of the couple on the bridge .. its great..

Tom0779 Thank you for your kind comments.. I use a Bob Ross canvas but I don't like the canvas marks (little pits) with acrylic paint on it so I sanded it down and re gessoed it a couple of times to make it flat.. I listened to what that bloke Jerry Yarnell said. Hope this helps .. Happy Painting to you .. By the way I mix my own colours up to make them blend easier as I only bought red, yellow, blue, white and black in acrylics

David, another beautiful painting. This reminds me flooded George Bush park in Houston. Only one thing is different, there is no heron here. It would be very happy to to stand there near the island and wait for the fish.

Because you bought only 5 main colors you can do every other color out of them. You don't need more in fact. Using only those 5 colors will teach you properly see and blend other colors.

Leaves on the tree are super as the shape of the tree! Looking forward to see more!

sunny lady thank you for your comments as always .. I have been looking into oil over acrylics.. I have found an artist on line that does this Clive ??? I think his name is but I will get it .. he uses a sealant that makes the oil stick .. I think that would be a great combination .. I will let you know the name when I find it .. Thank you for your comments again stay safe and happy painting.. ps first painting on my new easel .. really going to town now :) an easel !!!
