So I finally got the courage and time to paint along with Bob Ross (couldn’t find The Grandeur of Summer to upload as a recreation). I know I got a little sloppy with my bushes towards the end, I lost track of time and was trying to wrap it up quick (oops). But what else do I
need to work on? Be easy on me, it’s my first time painting ever!
I am also new (4 paintings). Isn't it fun? It looks great for the first time. Not that I've done this but they say it will stay wet for a couple of days, maybe you could have finished it later. Paint on palette could have been covered with plastic wrap from what I have read. I do see something that looks wonkey, your water lines need to be everywhere to make it look good. Just keep practicing and remember to enjoy and have fun. I'm afraid I have become addicted. This group is fantastic, make sure to go on the forum an also the blog & articles too

For the first painting I think you did amazing! I love the sky and the clouds. Really soft and delicate and beautiful. The evergreens look great too.
I learned that painting (at least for me) is quite a lengthy process and it's really not good if you're rushed, so I only paint when I really have enough time and don't have any commitments later. I love being able to finish slowly, add all the details I want, then slowly clean up an upload the painting to this website. I need all that "after-painting process" to get out of that weird zen mode painting gets me into 😉
All in all, a great first effort and keep on painting 👍
