Painting #38 wanted to do something different than a normal oval cutout so I came up with this! 18x24 oils on canvas over black gesso. Traced the palette. Taped it off and painted the middle with black gesso. Was gonna have trees extending off the painting but decided for the first one to just leave like this. I have another one prepped up for a different color scheme and gonna go all out with it!!! This was my first attempt using the 2 inch brush for tree foliage and bushes. Definitely a tough little rascal to use but I’ll figure it out!
