Ridges

Umagaan 27 Jan 2021

Once again I had some leftover paint, and for a change I was home alone, so I took a budget 30x40 cm canvas and decided to practice mountains a bit. The last ones I painted were quite flat, so I wanted to paint ones that have more ridges. I really like how they turned out. Love that high peak. I had lots of fun painting the clouds as well. Tried to paint the evergreen with the branches pointing upwards for a change. I like it more this way, the other ones seem kind of sad to me. All in all, loved painting this, I think that in a way I find it easier to just paint whatever comes to mind, following Bob is sometimes so hard (even though that's the way to learn new ).

My word, I think these are about your best mountains so far. And that right cloud is not even a whiskar away from a real one!!
Diamond worth practice time you had there my friend! WAW!

Thanks Voy😊 And I agree, these are definitely my best mountains so far 😊

They say to become pro we need to invest 10000 hours... I think you are surely on the right path! Mountain looks super!

Well I'll need to put in many more hours before I get to 10000 😊

I sugest to pay antention on lightnest on distant trees and more contrast and darker in foregraund . Its imortant to get depth i prefer to add one or two layer on bob ross paintings and sometime add highlite layer. Keep in mind that bob ross have only 30 min for painting

Boja thanks for the advice 👍
