I did not follow a Bob Ross video on this one, so we'll call it an original. The idea I had in my head was to paint a scene where I am looking at a 45ish degree angle at a mountain range and lake that goes off into the distance away from me. I like the mountains a lot and I like the color of the foothills. I just wish I had made the foothills less uniform looking and made the foothills thicker in some areas and thinner in others.
Trees are coming along. My bushes are a bit better still need work. Too much inconsistency in the grassy areas although I am generally pleased with the 'lay of the land'. Also, the clouds need work.
18 x 24 canvas. Painting #31 in my awesome Bob Ross experience. I am really enjoying the journey.
As always, constructive comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking, I appreciate you all.
TonyM to get your hills not to look so less uniformed next time go up and down like you are making zigzagging and in the distance don’t go heavy with the strokes be light like feather. Hope this makes sense. Oh watch the distance hills video
