For this painting, I decided to use one of the 18"X36" canvases in my stash. I had absolutely no idea what I was about to paint so this kind of came out of the brushes as I proceeded.
The extra 12" of canvas, as compared with a standard 18x24 canvas, gave me a chance to really play around with planes in the midground of the painting. I am quite happy with this painting.
