"MOTHER NATURE'S PALETTE"
OK, here is the story on this one.:
I started out trying Bob's 'Purple Haze' S22E6. I like this one because of the purple background and the variety of colorful bushes. Everything with the sky went as planned. I put in the bushes which looked just fair on my 1st attempt (you see where this is going). I plodded along and added some dead tree/bush branches and that is where the first major happy accident happened. The branches I painted coming up out of the center bush looked horrible. I had no choice but to make the center bush bigger at this point. After expanding the center bush, I felt the painting lost the feel of the V shaped lavender background area. At this point the experiment commenced. I added some subtle highlights to the tall trees on either side and like the effect so much I decided not cover at all with foreground trees. It also enabled me to retain as much of the lavender background as I could. I sat back looking at where I was and decided to practice more bushes and made every bush in the picture a different flavor using several paints from other manufacturers besides BRI. Not realistic, but as Bob says, it's my world :) In the picture, the bushes looked a bit muddied up, but they really are not. I scraped and repainted a few of the bushes due to a couple more happy accidents. It is just that the picture is not good. I am struggling with my photos. After I added all the bushes. the name "Mother Nature's Palette" just popped in my head.
I like the way the streamside rocks turned out and the creek is not too bad. I am still going to go back in a couple days and add some sticks and touch ups.
18 x 24 canvas. Painting #36 in my awesome Bob Ross experience. Never created a painting in my life before Feb 1, 2022. I am really enjoying the journey.

What a fantastic "save" on your happy accidents with this one! (I have had these moments lol!) You turned it into a beautiful, colorful waterfall garden.
