Well, I started out painting Bob Ross 3e3, Bubbling Stream. After totally screwing up that painting 3 separate times, for a moment, I felt like quitting painting altogether. The frustration level was at max. I decided to step away from the easel for a few days and come back with a fresh mind and a totally different painting.
At this point I decided to paint another brown mountain, as I need to practice them. By the time I finished, this painting, which I call 'Springtime Splendor' shook out of the brushes. I had a bit of trouble with darks over darks. My color selections and planning could have been a bit better, but all things considered, I was happy just to end up with a presentable painting.
As usual photo does not do the painting justice. 16" x 20" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.
Really beautiful! Love the mountain and all the colors!
You did a super job Tony! Everything works very well together.
As I said your knife work is always nice. Well done Tony!
