I decided to spread my wings a bit today and attempt a Nic Hankins painting. I chose Towering Mountain Reflections as the painting to follow. Ultimately, I chickened out on putting in the mountain reflections, so I had to come up with a new title LOL.
The purple 'WAY BACK THERE" mountain is way too dark which is nulling the perception of that mountain being way off in the distance. On the main mountain, this is the best that I have ever gotten paint to break. There is hope for me yet :)
Overall, this was fun to paint and I am overall pleased with it.
16X20 canvas. Painting #41 in my awesomely fun Bob Ross experience. Never created a painting in my life before Feb 1, 2022. I am really enjoying the journey.

Excellent piece of work. Great effort and results. My only question is about the distant mountain. The colour seems to contrast with the rest of the work, but that may have been your wish. I really like it.
