I am planning to start a new series on watercolor and ink paintings in Autumn. I havenโt painted with that medium since almost 16 months (except a few pictures) so I am really curious if my skills have gone.
This is from 2021 and done after a tutorial by Nil Rocha. Very limited palette is needed for that. In the foreground a white gel pen has been used as well.

This is gorgeous. You make me want to try watercolors with all of your spectacular paintings.
I am sure it will be like ridding a bicycle. You'll feel like you did your last one yesterday. Any recommendations on someone to follow/ tutorials for beginners?
nice job.
Love this one Tom! You do watercolor so well!

Beautiful! I love paintings with ducks!
Thank you Tomi, I hope I don't need so much practice to get back to good quality watercolors :)
Thank you Nancy. Actually it was an Irish painter called Frank Clarke (he sadly passed end of last year) who made me want to try watercolors.
This was the first video I carefully checked and then followed some lessons:

Thank you Daddio!
Many thanks Sandy, I am glad you like my watercolors.
Thank you Dirk!
Thanks Brian. The duck silhouettes aren't that difficult but never tried detailed ones :)
