From the book ‚The Art of Bill Alexander and Robert Warren, Series 12‘. The Video also exists at Bill‘s YouTube channel, though in that instruction he talks a lot at the beginning and runs out of time at the end. Thus he doesn’t create the foreground like planned.
I had this on my list since more than 2 years already and finally I found some time to do it.
The painting has a lot of different elements going on. Something totally new for me was this stone wall which is really nice and easy to make with the knife.
As always I tried to paint very loose, as I prefer loose painting style. This took me a bit longer than normal. Painting time was 2 1/2 hours.
