This has been inspired by Billβs Steel Lake. The tutorial exits on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ijSh531O-Y , it has been taken from an old video tape where audio and video don't fit together. But it is ok to follow, just in case someone is interested.
Only van Dyke Brown and white have been used. I changed the whole scene by e.g adding a background mountain and houses on the far side of the lake.
I love monochromatic paintings so I had to do that one too.
Oils on canvas panel 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm)
Love the monochromatic palette as well. There's a little "spookyness" in this compo which makes it so interesting! Great cabin. Superb painting Tom!
