This is one of my all time favorites by Bill. I found this in the book ‚The magic of oil painting IV‘ by him. I haven’t seen a video tutorial yet.
I love the idea of the monochromatic scene over a black canvas covered with burnt umber.
I will use this idea for my next original which is already in progress.
I love these kind of ‚less is more‘ paintings!

Thanks Nancy. Colors used are Burnt umber, Van Dyke Brown and White. No more colors used:) I am currently preparing an original based on that idea ;)
