I painted this on Sunday and dedicate it to my grandfather who celebrated his 97th birthday yesterday and who loves mountains in general and especially the Austrian ones.
The episode exists on Bill‘s YouTube channel bit as usual I used the book version, taken from ‚The Art of Bill Alexander and Lowell Spears, Series 4‘ as my inspiration.
A straight forward episode. I made the mountain a bit different but followed the idea of the blue bushes, which I really like in that scenario. I am really pleased with the clouds in this painting.
