An other all-Time favorite tutorial from me by Bill. This is from the book βThe magic of oil painting Iβ and there is no Tutorial available yet on YouTube. At least I didnβt find any.
This is really simple but so effective. I think painting time was under 60 minutes. This is one of the paintings we framed and now hangs on our wall. (see second picture, sorry there is a reflection on the second one as it hangs opposite of a window)
Oils on canvas panel 16 x 20 in (40 x 50 cm)
Many thanks P!
Super gemacht Tom. I don't know a tutorial about it either. The red in the windows is totaly cool. Sieht aus als sei der teufel zuhause ππ©πͺπ¦πΉ
Great work Tom.
Thanks a lot Dirk, yes the little red sport give it some mystical feeling. I really like that. And I could have sold this multiple times already. Maybe I do some other versions of it in the future.
Thank you Tomi!
I Looooooove this one so much Tom! Between the simplicity of it and the contrast of the coldness outside vs. the warmth inside that cabine, you did an incredible job on this one!
Love the framing BTW!!!
Thanks a lot Nancy. If you are interested I can send you the steps from the book via email. Just let me know π
Simple,effective and really beautiful Tom!
Please do Tom!! Thank you in advance! π
Thanks a lot Brian! @Nancy, I will be sending it soon!
I have seen this in the book and yours looks better. Excellent!
Thanks Cold. As per my knowledge Bills old books from The magic of oil painting (his first series) are different than Bobs. Bill did not paint a clear version for the books here but just used what he produced during the 25 min show and this is the reason why some look very unfinished there.
This composition definitely looks like a "Bill Alexander." The monochrome is so pretty and the little red accent in the windows is a perfect touch!
This is great Tom, love the simplicity and the atmosphere, sadly we don't appear to have those books in the UK
Thanks a lot Pam, definitely Bill. I love his monochromatic paintings. Some new will follow soon :)
Thanks a lot Niv. We neither have these books in Austria. I ordered them from second hand book shops, mostly from Germany or USA. You can get it also via platforms like eBay etc..
So very beautiful and love the lights in the windows!
Many thanks Sandy!
