Last weekend I decided to go with two paintings from Billβs first TV series. This is the first one and taken out of the book 'The magic of Oil Painting II'.
It contains an Autumn scene with mountains, lake and some leaf trees. Surprisingly this was took me more time then I thought. Especially the foreground tree was very time consuming. Unfortunately I ran out of alizarin crimson and used a similar color, which is opaque. That gave me a bit trouble to create the colors like suggested by Bill.
However I have already ordered some new crimson :)
This is oils on canvas panel 16 x 24 inches (40 x 60 cm)
Very nice and your tree on the left is wonderful!
