I havenβt painted any seascape since ages, so on Friday I decided to go with that one from Bill. I like seascapes with a lot of water movement and so this one from Bill, I had already on my list since longer, caught my attention.
As normal I used the book tutorial, this time out of 'The Art of Bill Alexander and Robert Warren, Series 10', as my reference, but the video is also available on the regular Bill Alexander YouTube channel.
Overall a very nice one to paint if you like stormy ocean scenes. It is not so easy to get the water look really moving and this cost me some time to get it look the way I liked it.
I hope it looks somehow right. I added some white birds like suggested in the book tutorial. I think they make a nice contrast to the dark cloudy sky.
This is oils on canvas panel 16 x 24 inches (40 x 60 cm)
