Second painting this week. I have recognized how much painting means to me, even I have only limited time.
This is rather an easy episode by Bill, but very beautiful I think. I used the book version as my inspiration rather than the Video available on Bill‘s YouTube channel. You can go crazy with colors, though I skipped the blue bushes Bill added to the foreground. My wife didn’t like them.
Overall a super episode, even for beginners and people who didn’t paint for longer.

Tom, Do you use professional paints? Your colors really stand out. Mine always look dull.

To answer your question Coldethel: I use different brands of colors. Mainly Lukas1862 brand. I think most of them are student quality. Maybe try to loosen the foliage color with some liquid/magic white. That might help.
