Took a break from Bob to try those Dot Mandala's of ForestVueGallery. She Rocks....I merely am a piece of dust but it's fun, still can't satisfy myself to even show anyone but Mom & Hubby, neither were impressed, LOL Soooooooo here is last night painting, out of the brain of Toadi. Should look great on my Mom's wall. I hate that my foreground tree is in the middle, I know better then that!!!!
You can transform painting and make it about those trees. If you detail them amor add thick layers of paint to make leaves and trunks they will stand out. The painting will get main subject this way. Currently your background is a bit more detailed and takes attention away from the trees in front.
Color scheme is very nice, forest in distance is very good. Water is very nice and soft is the grass.
Sorry. Amor = Or
Very nice! I love the colors you picked, and the water looks fantastic!
Toadi, I like this peaceful scene and all of the soft and cheerful colors emitting from your brain!
If you enjoy the dots Iād keep at it. The first many attempts I made were nothing exciting. With the tools to make perfect guide circles (and the dotting tools you have) just lots of practice with dot size, color scheme and placement will get you where you want to be š. Let me know if I can be of help.
oh thank you ForestVue, I really enjoyed it, I'm not quitting, just doing Bob for a bit
