This is sort of like an autumn version of my "After the Rain" painting.
I like to have seasonal themed things in my house, so I made this for autumn.

It has a white-black gesso underpainting and I then covered it with a thin coat of Liquid White at the top, and the rest with a thin coat of a blueish colour.
You can't see it well in the photograph, but some shadows have almost pure cobalt blue in them. Wanted to experiment with colour contrasts in this one.
The idea for the colours came from a photograph I took in the woods near my house. It had this blueish fog in the distance, between the trees.
