Along a Canal

"Along a Canal"

And so I decided, for the first time, to participate in the September monthly challenge by @landscapeartclub ( #landscapeartclub_sep24) on Instagram.

The subject this month is Autumn Trees, which I love, and I decided to use one of my old photographs to paint this "Along a Canal" scene. ❤️

It has been painted on stretched burlap and was done using only the paint knife.
The burlap is quite rough and it shows through the paint, even with the thicker layers of paint.
And I bet you can tell from which side the light came when I took this picture... 😂
