We have lost one of our own and I felt the need to put something up for Hado. She inspired me to get back into florals so I painted this some time ago following Lowell Speers. This was created before I learned how to paint semi transparent petals, again inspired by her a little later on, along with those frilly edged petals she did so well. She uploaded 436 paintings on TwoInchBrush which is quite an achievement, and poppies, or as she called them poppys, were her favourites especially the blue ones. So I would like to mark her passing with my poppy bouquet painting which I have re-named "Blue Poppies for Hado".
