40x40 cm Kingfisher took me forever. Not as realistic as I wanted, but painting since December 2023 as an excuse😌

the water is an absolute treat, and upstaging the bird just a little! That's a feat considering the bird/feathers look great :D Really nicely done
I think this is an amazing composition! Your water movement is incredible. I’m a huge bird fan and the belted kingfishers we have in my neck of the woods are a favorite of mine 🙂
