This one is fixing the problem of log in the previous study work and working through the concept. And of course doing more mistakes :)
I changed orientation but doing some successful corrections I managed successfully to do some accidents.
Part of the fun times, isn’t it?
Log looks like a deer with that dry branch.
Canvas 20*30cm, oil paints, Liquin as medium.
I think I am harnessing this crazy Liquin thing.
Thank you so much Dave! Your kind feedback is appreciated a lot!
I think the log in this one vs version #3 is more believable with the part underwater. Overall I think this exercise turned out better! I like the color of the shore better also.
Thank you Flippergirl! Appreciate your feedback!
This version was a lot of fidgeting with paint to resolve the log. Too many details implied in the background that take attention from the log. But anyway thank you for verifying this log transition to the water looks more natural.

Hi Sunnylady, you certainly are harnessing not only liquin, but also this technique and the way you are now capturing this scene and the log and rocks under this flowing river. I can see the improvement over the 4 paintings so far in this series, and encourage you to keep going with the series as they will further enhance your great and expanding painting repertoire. Well done. Cheers, Dave
