Saturn. My third watercolor in adult life.
Thanks Voy, I asked way too many questions I hope it does not make your life complicated.
I did not think about colors when i started I just knew that clouds need to be yellow and rings white but after i finished i realized i did what i like most i made contrast colors here. I have one more left to go.
That would be moon Europa, right? The one that contains water underneath the surface? Success with that!!
Yes, you are right. This one supposedly has water under icy crust. I already developed the plan for Europa. I wonder how it turns out as I will be using watercolor. I am certainly do not feel comfortable with this media. But it is growth of the skills at the end of the day.
You know, you might add Jupiter as well, with it's massive storms and the giant red spot!
Ah, if only I could send you some canvasses, I have 16 left and ordered 24 to be delivered end of next week!
So paint enough, canvasses coming, ideas more then enough …. if only I had room to expose them! I have a real big house and still it's not big enough!! :)
You are so kind Voy! I have got to know about one more shop here that sells art supplies. I need to check if they are open for online orders. I keep fingers crossed.
Thanks for your kindest support!
Regarding space on the walls it melts very quickly. There is need of properly designed storage. I dont have guts to remove canvas from the stretcher. But I think at one point I will have to do it.
If you ever find anything for the storage please share a link. I will be very interested.
Happy painting, my dear friend! Looking forward to see more of your works.
Well, I have a huge attic with a 5000 books library, a lounge, a man cave (1920-1970 style), a second study, a huge drawing room (my daughter uses this), a sewing corner, a substantial wood supply and about 108 niches. In those, we stack all our material.
Since I buy canvasses in boxes, I keep those empty boxes and will put (after 100% drying!) then my painted canvasses in it to store them in a few niches.
On that same attic, I dry my paintings. I can easily dry 20 to 30 of those and cprotected from dust …. AND my cats!! :)
That sounds like a lot of space and very nice house!
i love the way you paint these clouds! Beautiful colours!
Thank you Madame Mouton!
