It looks like a mother holding her child in her arms and it could have something to do with death or accident.👀

Motherhood and it's ever changing challenges.

I see motherhood. A beautiful moment frozen in time. Mother and child gazing at each other with unconditional love.

Hmmm, I don’t know. It looks pretty cool though.

Thank you all for sharing! I will wait few more comments to reveal what I was thinking about and how I came up with my idea.

I am with Dirk… mother holding her child.

It’s beautiful Sunnylady! Great abstract!

I’m with Dirk and Nancy and this is so cool!

This is so good, I love this!

@Dirk, @Ninoum, @Cronenberg - what do you think cause the feel of loss/accident? Texture? Color? Composition?

For me, it is the shade of red, on the heads that gives me the feeling of blood. The posture and the angle of inclination of the heads and the footprint, which means "going" for me. 😎🇩🇪

Thanks Dirk!

I think the body posture may revel elements of deep/unconditional love & admiration. Very maternal feel. This compo didn't give me a feeling of loss at first but the more I look at it, the more I can see Dirk's point of view. But interpretation can vary every time we look at it.

Thank you Ninoum! I appreciate you sharing! You pointed me to the very interesting topic. What does viewer feel versus what they were told to feel? I remember a lot of essays in the school time when we wrote looking at the painting. We were told what is supposed to be felt, same as with literature when analysis of a book needed to be done. When I had MOMA class my point of view was different from art critics. Coming to the next question: do the viewers need to know what artist feels when painted?

Actually initially for me I felt that it was a mother who had given birth with no one to help her. She has blood on her face from kissing and nuzzling her child. I don’t think that it’s important to know what the artist feels or if it’s even possible to know. I think we can only speculate.

I find it at least interesting to know what the artist wants to express. If you have the opportunity to talk to the artist directly, I would do it to compare my impressions and I also think it is quite interesting for the artist to know what he does with different people with his work.😎

I think that part of the abstract appeal is that it brings different feelings for every viewer. Often the title of the work is an indication of what the piece reflects, but not always. But regardless of the artists intent, life gives us all individual experiences that affect how we we view the world (including art) around us. For me, it doesn't matter what the artist was going for, only what I see and feel.

Thank you folks!

I wanted to paint emotion or feeling this time. And the greatest of all now is love to my baby. So she helped me to paint this. There is such a cozy feeling when I hold her little foot in my hands. I wanted to use yellow as color of joy and happiness. But I needed other colors in it. I used charcoal to convey the way I hold my baby and at the same time to show that my hands like wings will close the baby from troubles. It was difficult to finalize as I had to play with color masses to ensure I guide viewer eye to the part where I wanted to.

Painting this abstract was easier due to the objective to show feeling/emotion than just playing with shapes.

Beautiful emotion portrayed.

Sorry didn't see this .. I like it a lot again ... the posture is key to me .. showing admiration .. I really like the idea of abstract art.

Thanks David and indicationofart!
