I saw this painting by Billy Jacobs around the 4th of July. I thought this would be a good one to try as my first painting from a reference photo only. No Bob or Kevin showing me the techniques, bushes to use, paint mixing, and hand holding...LOL.
Learned a lot, made some mistakes, had to redo a few steps, got stuck, frustrated, and excited. Ended up with a good result and a wonderful experience.
Added Billy's painting I used as a reference.
