16x20 oil One of my first attempts at trying to paint an animal I didn’t like his nose so I buried it LOL his neck seems a little thin but not real sure I was going from my picture that I have still need to work on the eyes, but all part of the practice.

While it's not remotely the most critical part of the composition, I think your color choices for the distant hills work perfectly and lend to the rough realism of the whole painting. Nice work!
