Steve Ross showed me how to paint a scene just like this one at the recent Townsend, TN workshop. It's always such a treat to watch Steve paint, I've been fortunate enough to attend several workshops. One thing I've taken notice of is how deliberate he is with each and every brush stroke. Every stroke has a purpose and a place... I have since then tried to emulate this technique in my own paintings. Thanks, Steve!
Very nice. Clear, crisp, vivid colors with great separation between the layers. Love the peak of that tall mountain. And the evergreens, too. And the falls. And the...okay, you get where I'm going with this. Great painting. And welcome to Two Inch Brush, too. Keep posting.
Regards.
