As the famous line goes ( in the UK) " And now for something completely different" Acrylic on canvas, under painting of yellow, red ,orange, blue, then I painted mountains in black then started to scratch through. A few mid ground trees and ( maybe) the river stays. Thoughts on snow, grass or more trees in foreground please or anything else for that matter! Thanks all š
Hm... it is a very difficult to me... Scratching through looks awesome as well as that rough sky. Since you have it on your digital camera i would suggest to use some app to try the next steps.
What if you use same rough colors as in the sky for the front, but keep them mixed with dark. I think in this painting the main gem is middle ground. I would think about how i can preserve it and not overdo with anything above.
thus those dark blues and browns could be a good abstract shapes to lead the eye to the midground.
I would even suggest tp cut out that white part that you have there. Some very abstract bushes, nothing tall because everything is still relatively far, thus no details.
maybe i would suggest to use the same scratching method to fill the black part of it and still to cut out white bottom
I think this painting shall stay in realm of abstract shapes and no realism.

The sky is cool. Iād highlight the mountains. Add trees to the mid ground. Maybe in the foreground add some land and shrubs.
