My take on another Bob classic, don't have any liquid clear so used linseed oil, probably too slick and the lower part is merging together. We live n learn, next time I'll wipe most of it off before starting.

Liquid clear is indeed a very active substance, it should be used with limited amounts only. Whiping off is a good thing, do not be afraid to be ferm, yet still use a gentle touch cause you don't wanna whipe it all off. Even a little little little on the canvas will get the trick done on it!
BTW, nice painting with a gorgeous river, so much depth created, and solemn evergreens!
