I felt a flavor of Kevin Hill when doing this one from Buck (or should I say Kevin’s has a flavor of Buck with his technique. 😁)
Super interesting to work with very dark next to extremely bright. On this picture, it’s hard to see the sun rays (coming from the top… thru the canopy of the trees) and all my blue leaves & shadows. It’s hard to produce good lighting at night. Plus I see some spots with a glare on them from the wet paint. It will probably look better with natural light. No biggy, it gives you a good idea of the compo.
Thank you my friend! 🇩🇪☀️ Sending lots of chill vibes your way. Take a moment to take a few deep breaths in.
Came out great Nancy!
You have captured the natural light beautifully, good job 🤩
Thank you Niv! This one made me understand even more about undertones. They are essential to get that natural light effect.
Thank you Tomi! Can't wait to see your version!
Just an FYI... Buck does a lot of extra work during the "breaks" (I guess it was on TV at some point). Make sure to check the PDF at the same time. It will save you the surprises I went thru. This way, you won't skip important steps and won't have to backtrack.
Awesome use of light and color N!
Thank you my friend!
Awesome. Your painting frequency and the high quality is amazing.
I really appreciate that Tom! Thank you! 😀
Loving it, Nancy.
Really awesome job! Love the lights and darks!
Very nice, so realistic
Thank you Titia! 😀
Thank you Sandy! I love those contrasts too. Those different shades of green made me want to paint it.
Thank you Cold! ☀️
