If you wondered what I was doing all last week, here it is. I took a break from it yesterday to work on September Song, but needed to do my touch ups in order to finish it today.
I got inspired by an online wallpaper. You may have seen it before. I was so drawn into this picture that I had to paint it.
I added little glowing snowflakes to make it more magical. If winter could look just like this all season long, I’d move back up north in a heartbeat.

this is so charming, well done on the details! The pink glow is a perfect warm offset to the blue/brown tones. I wish this was what my neighborhood looked like!

Awww! Thank you very much Jeff! This one was all about the glow. It had to look right to bring this nice warm effect created by the lamp underneath the snowed branch canopy.
