This one always took my breath away. I saw someone here on TIB doing this one few months ago (sorry I can't remember who it was π’). I told myself when I had the skills, I would go for it. After doing a few tutorials with Kevin, I am starting to feel more comfortable with his technique. So I decided it was a perfect time to try it. It was a pure joy to do.
The mountain ware very different from what I am used to. I honestly had no clue where Kevin was going with it while painting it. Once done, when I back away, I was happily surprised by the result. I added petals on the path. We have those type of beautiful trees in the spring in Florida. Their petals fall everywhere on the ground. I thought it would be logical to have some here too.
Again, my lighting isnβt the best. My trees look 2 different shades of pink but are pretty much the same. I seem to take my pictures at night. I might want to wait the next day instead.
Wauw amazing painting, with a great view on the mountain.
It's looking great, Nancy.
The warm sunlight casting shadows on the path.
The texture of the trees and grass. All good. <3
Out the park!......As always. ππ
A triumph my friend.Just gorgeous!
Just beautiful. One tree is in the shade, that's what I was intended.
The painting is executed perfect as we see it from you day by day. If I remember your pictures half a year ago then I still canβt believe how much you improved.
Beautiful from the sunlit field to the long shadows crossing the path and those wonderful pink trees!
Absolutely gorgeous!

I let out an audible, βOh, wow!β when I saw this beautiful painting. It may not have reached you from Australia but it was there . π

Thank you Sandy! π
Barbara, I was wondering what was that sound earlier! Now I know... it was you! π Glad you like this one. It had the same effect on me when I saw it for the 1st time.
Very nice Nancy! Looking through your portfolio, it's great to see your progress. You gots skills :) I was crazy enough to try this for my 4th painting. Kevin is great...I was fortunate to get to go to one of his classes. Him and his family are wonderful and gracious. I definitely learned a lot in 3 days.
