Thank you super much Pam! 😊 I am so new to this, I really don’t know what’s the best to use. I got a kit at hobby lobby that includes paint, few brushes, paint tray and pencils. It was like $30… more than likely cheap stuff. But I just wanted to get started to see if I would like it. Again, the paper I am using is not the best. It’s for watercolors, cold pressed. Peter Sheeler suggests hot pressed. I have no idea of the difference. Maybe it doesn’t swell and get bumpy as much as the water gets absorbed by the paper. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lovely painting Nancy. Most versatile paper is 100% cotton, 300gsm (140ld) cold pressed of quality brand for an art shop. Someone (probably Tom amongst many others) start with the better quality paper, otherwise you have to learn again when you get to that paper. Cheers
