I totally forgot to post these paintings from the workshop I did July 8th-13th last. Hereβs what we did every day in order:
Day 1) 5-step eye
Day 2) Big Cat Face
Day 3) Swan
Day 4) Tree Frog
Day 5) Jaguar
I have been working on a commission. Extreme tedious work! That's why I haven't posted anything in a while. I should have something for you all next week and the following (20 paintings in total). I am doing the Bob Ross Landscape Certification. We will be doing 2 paintings/day. My work won't be as sharp, but it will be interesting to see what it entails. π
There she is! Thanks for the update N! Freaking awesome froggy! I am enjoying your journey through TIB so be sure to keep posting your work!πβοΈ
Super work my friend, love it ππΌπ©πͺ
I love it. All of these are great.
Beautiful work as usual. You have such talent.
Super nice! I notice oil AND acrylic...combined or separate?
So beautiful!

Great work. I bet you enjoyed doing them.
Awesome paintings, I like them all!
Wow, great work on these! Have to admit, the tree frog is my favorite!
Thank you so much Titia! I am super excited for you. The fundamental (level 1) is so much fun. I'll let you know how level 2 & 3 will be like. I am starting level 2 this upcoming Tuesday.
Thank you bunches B!!! And you are welcome for the updates. I am not going anywhere. I will always post my compos here and am available to anyone when you guys have questions.
I am doing 2 Bob Ross's this weekend to get back in the landscape groove. I will def post them on here. I am not done with my commissioned compo, but the client is not in a hurry at all.
Vielen Dank, mein Freund! π©πͺπ€
Thank you very much Dee!
Thank you so much for your kind words TLP! π But as Bob says, "talent is simply a pursued interest." I have to admit that my interest is to the roof. Lol! I paint every day. Practice, practice and practice is what I continually do while trying new techniques and artists. π
Many thanks David! Yes, it's a separate process. First, we paint the whole thing with acrylic paint (black, white and gray). Once dry, the magic happens with the oils.
Thank you lots Stephanie, Sandy Jessie, Colin & Tom. I really appreciate all of your comments! π₯°
I am right there with you Jon. My fav is the frog. That's why I put it in full display in this post. And thank you very much! π
