Bob Ross celebration day

I’m so jealous!! Where was this? How did you find the event?

I wish you could have been there Bob. It was in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The event was posted on Bob Ross’ social medias & Nic Hankins. I have subscribed to received emails from Bob’s website. So the celebration invitation was sent to me at the end of August.

It was a blast Bob! Wish you could have been there too. We sang “Happy Birthday” to Bob before starting the class with Nic.

Oh it was B!!! It was great to meet Jessie! Representing TIB was an honor. When I talked to Nic, I told him to go check out the TIB website. 😉

I didn’t know meeting Nic would happen since he “disappeared” once we were done painting. 15-20 minutes later, when most people were gone, he reappeared. I got my chance then!

Jessie is a CRI. She has been for 3 hrs. She was helping us out with the BR technique an all. It was a real delight meeting her today!

I'd love to go one day, but flying across the big pond makes it so expensive. Perhaps one day...
And congrats on deciding to become an instructor. You'll do great, I'm sure.

I'm also interested in becoming an instructor, but I'm waiting for them to come over here. Emailed them about it in August. They replied it will happen again, they just don't know when yet.

Thanks for sharing Nancy and congrats with your certification, oh you still have to do it, should be no problem at all for you, I was wondering you were the only one in shorts , not important at all but I just was curious.

It was a great event Titia. Meeting Nic was awesome. He is such a great guy. The way he projects his energy on TV is how he is in person.

The event didn’t last that long… 8am till 12:30pm. So flying just for that wouldn’t have been worth it unless you would combine vacations in Florida with that.

You would be a wonderful instructor too. Bob’s legacy had picked up lots of steam the past few years. Hard to imagine they would go back across the pond like you say.

Thx Jos! To answer the question about my shorts…1) most people were older than me. 2) In FL, the AC freezes you inside. People get cold. I never wear a long sleeve, but it was chilly at the event. 😉

This is so awesome! That's so cool you got to meet Jessie there. I watch a lot of the BR twitch channel, and I happened to be watching when Jessie was instructing at TwitchCon and didn't know it was her. It's funny bc I saw her and thought, hey I wonder if that's Shadowlink...nah, coulnd't be right? But this confirms it! So fun.

Also, I know you'll make an amazing instructor with or without the CRI title. You are a natural born teacher! Congrats on the awesome day.
