This one is dedicated to Tomi aka indicationofart. Thank you so much for send me over this beautiful tutorial. ๐ค
My first floral! ๐ผ But it far from being perfect. I feel like a total beginner once again. I covered, for most part, my bottom daisies with the big oneโฆ ๐ we can barely see them.
I loved doing this type of painting. So different! This is only the beginning of my floral journey. It was very easy to do. I thought it would give me a headache. Overall, I am happy with this one. I can only get better!
BTW, I love your signature upgrade.
Thank you so much my friend! I really appreciate. ๐ I sincerely didn't think it would turn out ok. Have you tried to paint with the sable brush?
Wonderful! Daisies is your thang too! Really pretty!
No a sable, I have the Wilson Bickford flat and filbert brushes and really like them. My ability is what is holding me back from posting any of the florals I've tried.
Cronenberg89, everything is her thang! She is incredible.
Awww! Thank you B! Daisies are my fav flowers (and sunflowers). When you paint something you like, magic happens! โจ
Just very beautiful! You can conquer anything!
I just got the sable yesterday. Thatโs what I was wait for to do this painting. I also have a flat brush. Both are Bill Alexanderโs. Itโs def a learning process. Tho, I really like them! For floral, the sable make it so much easier. I guess a flat brush could do it too.
You just made me laugh! ๐
Why not posting your best floral? Iโd love to see it! ๐
Thank you Sandy! Iโll leave the portraits to you tho! You are just amazing with them.
Lovely
Good Morning Nancy, Flowers are not my world but you did a great Job here . Very nice ๐๐๐ผ
That is outstanding for your first floral
Thank you Cold! ๐
Happy Earth Day my friend!! ๐ฉ๐ช๐ Thank you much! I didn't think I would get into floral any time soon but Tomi, gave me this PDF and I was excited about trying it. Daisies being my fav flowers, it was a no brainer! I will be painting another floral (daisies again) today since I have the fresh feeling of handling the sable brush. Always trying to stay challenged. This is one way! ๐
Thank you so much J!! I didn't think I would have this outcome to be honest. So this taught me to try before predetermining your faith. You never know!
Look like I'll be ordering more brushes.
Great and lightly painted Ninoum! Looks like you need to give yourself few more of florals. I like to see how this is different in terms of freedom and looseness of brush work compare to landscapes.
Tomi, you wonโt regret your new brushes. They are the key to a successful floral to my opinion. ๐
Thank you Sunnylady! I really like floral. I just finished another one and itโs much easier than I thought. Have you ever tried?
Yes, I did 4 or 5 florals overall. I always looked at Lowell Spears but did not have guts to try. Most challenging floral was roses from live. But after few erases I got it more or less right. Composition is the mess there but I like them. The rest are not good. The worst I think I did not post here.
